Why Foster

The most effective way to reduce overcrowding in shelter is to foster. Fostering is providing your home as temporary shelter until the dog is adopted to their forever home! When you open your home to a dog in need it opens up space in shelters and reduces the need to euthanize. With sled dogs in particular they have a hard time in a shelter environment. Almost immediately sled dogs will start showing signs of kennel stress. Kennel stress can dramatically effect how dogs react in their new shelter environment. A once sweet dog can start behaving aggressively or fearfully due to kennel stress. House of Husky wants to prevent this from happening and we need your help!

Why should I foster a dog?

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look liketype specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
